When developing materials, HECC employs a well-defined process that includes formative research, as well as expert and target audience review to assure that messages and content are accurate and effective. Then, HECC writers work with design and production professionals to translate these messages into polished forms that catch the audience’s attention.
HECC has participated in the development of materials that have been awarded the Gold Medal of Excellence in Print Materials from the American Public Health Association, as well as awards from the New England Society for Healthcare Communications.
